Everyone's Racquet may be able to help you make the right decision.

There is no doubt about it, choosing the right racquet is a process that may require a some assistance. Brand names like Babolat, Head, Wilson, Volkl, Dunlop are constantly introducing new technologies. Our Demo Program offers the new and exciting racquets to try. Why not stop by the store and try out a demo or two. The rental Program is simple, the cost to rent is $5.00 for a 2 day rental per racquet. Late charges of $2.50 per day will apply if not returned on time. If you are more than 7 days late you will be charged the full price of the racquet. A valid credit card is required for all demo rentals.

If your demo style would prefer to include on court consulting maybe our $50 demo session with one of our Staff Tennis Pro's would work best for you. On the court we take 10 to15 racquets (which you can choose) and work you through a selection process while brushing up on your tennis skills.

Let Everyone's Racquet help you choose the right racquet............

Top five reasons to change your racquet

You know it is time to change your racquet when: Your racquet has a wooden press.

You know it is time to change your racquet when: Your racquet is older than you are.

You know it is time to change your racquet when: Your racquet is made of wood.

You know it is time to change your racquet when: You are playing with your parents old racquet.

You know it is time to change your racquet when: You are serious about getting better.

Today's racquets change the way tennis is played. Some players say they want more power, others say more control. Racquet companies continue to improve racquet performance. 2010 technologies like Youtek IG, BLX, Biomimetics, GT, DNX have all made there way into frame designs, head sizes, vibration dampening systems, and fashionable cosmetics. Finding that ultimate racquet is not going to be easy.

Play testing through a demo program may be a possible choice for changing the way you play.

Let's break it down. Racquet prices range from $19.95 for a department store "el cheapo" to a $300.00 pro shop Super Power Frame. Obviously playing once a year doesn't require a bag full of racquets. However, tennis players should have equipment based on their frequency of play. Let's pretend you are in a match, you got mad and pulled a Marat Safin and smashed your racquet into the court. You definitely need a second racquet.

If you are ready to handle the racquets it's time to use your feelings to explore, begin with the sense of touch (this is a good thing)! Immediately you get feedback by holding the racquet in your hand. First you should feel the overall weight: Simply how light or heavy is the racquet. Next balance: ask yourself (not outloud) is the weight of the racquet more towards the head or the handle? Next the Grip: Is it comfortable to hold? Do you like the texture of the grip? How about the size of the grip, does it feel to big around or to small (the circumference of the handle is usually sized 1 thru 5)? Finally appearance: Ask yourself "Does the racquet look good?" (*looking good rule) there are many racquets to choose from get one that looks good to you. Our staff tennis Pros are always ready to help you.

Almost there. Getting a sense for hitting the ball extends the feedback to feeling the performance of the racquet. Playing may help you make a better choice. If you do not have a partner to demo test racquets, you may want to schedule a demo session with one of our staff Pros.

Trying demos to evaluate a possible new purchase is a fun thing to do. At Everyone's Racquet there are plenty of quality brand name demo racquets. Stop by and take one out for a test!! We have over 100 demo racquets in stock.

Exercise zaps stress

While everyone knows exercise promotes a healthy heart, researchers are constantly learning more about how it minimizes stress. Multiple studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder have shown that physiological responses to stress from the brain, hormonal system, and immune system are all moderated by regular exercise. And while all exercise is healthy, moderately intense exercise, like tennis significantly reduces anxiety too, according to research from the University of Missouri. Be Good to Your Feet

How often do you think about your feet?

If you are like most people, only when they hurt, or feel much better than usual. But your feet deserve a standing ovation for all the work they do. In a lifetime, they carry the average person more than 100,000 miles. And together they absorb tons of force a day - much of it on a hard pavement, so let's hear it for your feet.

Prevention: The first pathway a guide to good foot care.

Proper care of your feet can help prevent problems down the road (pay a little now or pay a LOT later). The most single most important aspect of general preventive foot care is to choose the proper engineered padded activity specific sock product and the proper shoe, and to get them fitted correctly according to a professional fitting protocol.
