Exercise zaps stress

While everyone knows exercise promotes a healthy heart, researchers are constantly learning more about how it minimizes stress. Multiple studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder have shown that physiological responses to stress from the brain, hormonal system, and immune system are all moderated by regular exercise. And while all exercise is healthy, moderately intense exercise, like tennis significantly reduces anxiety too, according to research from the University of Missouri. How often do you think about your feet?

If you are like most people, only when they hurt, or feel much better than usual. But your feet deserve a standing ovation for all the work they do. In a lifetime, they carry the average person more than 100,000 miles. And together they absorb tons of force a day - much of it on a hard pavement, so let's hear it for your feet.

Prevention: The first pathway a guide to good foot care.

Proper care of your feet can help prevent problems down the road (pay a little now or pay a LOT later). The most single most important aspect of general preventive foot care is to choose the proper engineered padded activity specific sock product and the proper shoe, and to get them fitted correctly according to a professional fitting protocol.
